INTERSHIPS:
XLSolutions Technology Labs is developping strategic technologies for data analysis. Our technology labs focuses on innovative technologies and your primary responsibilities are to assist in the development of statistical algorithms and methods for analyzing a variety of data types. You will assist research projects .
WORK:
Assist in the development and implementation of novel algorithms for various types of data mining.
Assist in testing the implemented algorithms and providing the diagnostics of the problems or bugs, if any.
Develop simulation studies to verify the algorithms and the robustness of the methodologies.
Run case studies using simulated data and real data to demonstrate the application of the algorithms.
Qualifications
BACKGROUND:
M.S. or Ph.D. students in computer science, mathematics, Statistics or related field.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Background in mathematical or statistical algorithms, and data mining.
Excellent communication and written skills, as demonstrated by term papers, technical publications or conference presentations.
